Merwood Partners is a two-person partnership that buys and personally runs one business for the long term. Owners share sensitive things with us, so we'll keep this short and honest. This policy follows Canada's privacy law, PIPEDA, and applies in Ontario.

What you share stays private

Anything you share with us, whether contact details, business information, or financials, is kept strictly confidential and used only to explore a possible transition with you. We never sell it or add you to a mailing list. The only people who ever see it are the small inner circle needed to evaluate a transaction, and every one of them is bound by the same confidentiality obligations we hold ourselves to:

• the two principal partners of Merwood Partners;
• our vetted legal, accounting, and transaction advisors; and
• any committed capital partners and/or family-office investors we bring in to fund a deal.

If we jointly decide not to move forward with a transition, we will completely destroy, delete, or return all shared operational data and financial files within 48 hours of your request.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us when you get in touch or when we're getting to know your business. The site uses simple, cookieless analytics, and we don't track you or run ads.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email us and we'll take care of it. We keep what you share only as long as we need it.
